Junior Field Sales Engineer (Nordic)

SELTECH is an international electronic solution provider and distributor with offices and logistics facilities in France, Germany, China, Singapore and USA. Founded in 1989, with a 23M€ worldwide revenue increasing by 10% per year we are a 60 people, dynamic privately owned company and we are part of a group of companies with about 3.500 employees. Our headquarters are located in Créteil, adjacent to Paris. We are specialized in high end solutions on Acoustic and Capacitive & inductive sensing. Together with our technology partners, we are serving B2B customers in the Smart Home, Mobile Consumer Electronics, IoT, Wearables, Automotive, Medical and Industrial sector.

 

The Nordic region (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland) is a dynamic sales territory for Seltech, with a large number of established and potential customers. We are looking for a motivated Junior Field Sales Engineer based in Seltech Headquarter to cover the Nordic region. He or she will be trained and supported by our Sales Manager.

THE POSITION

Sales Effort

  • Implement sales plan to increase sales volume, revenue and market share
  • Visit prospects and customers all over the Nordic region (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland) to maintain existing business and develop new opportunities
  • Supply fully detailed customer visit reports
  • Reply to customers’ requests regarding commercial and technical issues
  • Build forecasts with existing and potential customers
  • Present an updated budget on the company CRM

 

Marketing Effort

  • Collect customer information such as organization structure, market position, etc.
  • Do market research for audio, video and connected devices market segments to locate potential customers
  • Collect dates and places of fairs involving potential or existing customers
  • Get competition information for evaluation of the market position
  • Find new market opportunities and product trends

 

Technical Effort

  • Learn and enhance technical knowledge on acoustic and sensor technologies to be able to provide technical support to the customers and offer competitive solutions
  • Collect and share technical information to improve the global technical knowledge of Seltech team

  • Master Degree
  • English is mandatory
  • Willing to travel
  • Team player, confident in direct customer communication
  • Pro-active working style and entrepreneurial spirit
  • You can demonstrate sales orientation, negotiation and organizational skills
  • You have technical interest or/and understanding in the field of electronics
